Buffer
To buffer a selected record, update the buffer settings near the bottom of the Results tab. Set the target layer, buffer distance and distance units:

Next, click the Buffer action button for a particular record:

The Results will refresh showing only those features from the target layer that intersect the buffer. The buffer appears on the map and the intersecting features from the target layer are highlighted. Near the top of the screen, the back arrow button is enabled to return to the last set of Results. Scroll back and forth between set results as needed. Hit Clear to reset the search.
