Results

After using any of the selection tools, results will appear on the Results tab of the Contents Panel, automatically. This tab has a variety of options and sub-tools that work with the selected set of features.

Near the top of the tab, the name of the layer containing selected features and the number of selected records is displayed. Below that is a search option to locate a specific field within the attribute table. This is useful when the layer contains many different fields and it is hard to locate a needed field through scrolling. There is also a Clear button to clear the selected set of records.

Each selected record is shown in the results table. Scroll down through the records using the side scroll bar to the right. Click on a field heading to sort the records in ascending or descending order. Optionally, hover the mouse over the field name and click the button with three vertical lines to filter the results based on an attribute value. Check the Select boxes to highlight and zoom to specific features. Use an action button to perform a number of sub-tasks. Refer to Action tools for additional information.
